Each year, BDI and local sponsors host Business Diversity Week formerly Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week Workshops and Awards Luncheon for the Portland Metropolitan region. During the Week, advocacy groups and government partners join the local business community to celebrate local small businesses and the contributions they make to our local economy.

Leadership Recharge is a three-day, all-inclusive conference providing entrepreneurial and leadership training for established small businesses and Diversity Practitioners seeking to take their business/organization to the next level.

This program brings together professional diversity practitioners from public and private organizations with the purpose of furthering diversity education, providing a platform for deliberations on the most challenging issues, influencing policy, learning best practices, and collaborating on methods to solve issues faced by DMWESB’s.

The GO! Program provides underrepresented businesses new to government contracting with the tools necessary to learn the procurement processes and contracting requirements most agencies require.
